Sponsors

BiG would not be possible without our great sponsors

The Bachelor of Information Group (BIG) is an IT Society filled with students from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) and is affiliated with the UTS Union. We are currently seeking companies to sponsor our society in 2016, so that we are able to fill our calendar by hosting both, social and career-focused events for our members.

How can I, as a Sponsor, get involved?

In 2016, we are offering two primary packages, Gold or Silver – each with different benefits that is dependent on the amount donated to our society. We also offer a personalised event deal, where BIG organises a custom event on behalf of your company and you substitute the cost. We are happy to negotiate and customise packages to your preferences. Our packages are designed to benefit both you as well our members. This is not just a charitable donation; it is an investment to expose your company to new talent.

We offer discounted sponsorship to companies that already sponsor the Bachelor of Information Technology program at UTS. For more information on this, please visit: http://www.it.uts.edu.au/courses/scholarships/bit/index.html

If you are interested in sponsorship, please contact pr@bigit.activateuts.com.au.

A little bit of BiG history

BIG was originally founded to cater for students undertaking Bachelor degrees in Information Technology. Since its inception, BIG has attracted interest from students of all faculties and is now the leading society at UTS, having recently won the Club of the Year Award in 2011.

Our members have the opportunity to participate in a variety of corporate events throughout the year, including the annual, “How Can I Use My IT Degree Innovatively?” and several sponsor orientated career events. We also aim to provide our members with the opportunity to participate in a variety of social events throughout the year, including beginning and end of semester parties, harbour cruises, inter-university and inter-club events, trivia nights for charity and many more. BIG has a member-base of over 350 IT students and 50 other students across various UTS faculties and some other universities.
